2. Clean the surface: First, thoroughly clean the area on the yacht deck where you plan to install the anti-skid mat. Remove all dust, oil, and other impurities and ensure the surface is clean and dry. This helps to enhance the bonding effect.
3. Measure and cut: According to the size of the installation location, use a ruler or tape measure to measure the anti-slip mat, and then use scissors or professional cutting tools to cut it to the appropriate size. Make sure the edges are neat to fit the contours of the installation area.
4. Select the bonding method:
• Double-sided tape: ideal for lightweight non-slip mats or temporary installations. Apply the double-sided tape to the edge or designated location on the back of the non-slip mat, then peel off the protective film and carefully attach the mat to the cleaned deck.
• Special glue: For heavy-duty or long-term fixed anti-slip mats, special marine glue that is water-resistant and UV-resistant can be used.
