What is Eva Foam?

EVA Foam Sheet is a closed-cell foam made from ethylene vinyl acetate and blend copolymers. It has a high level of chemical cross-linking. The result is a semi-rigid product with a fine, uniform cell structure. This applies to a variety of situations and applications.

Advantages of EVA foam for marine flooring include:
Shock and vibration absorption.
Weather and chemical resistant.
Sound and thermal insulation properties.
Low water absorption for buoyancy.
Suitable for thermos bottle molding and thermos bottle molding.

EVA Double Colors Sheet and polyethylene are similar forms of closed-cell foam. However, EVA is softer and more elastic than polyethylene and has better recovery properties after compression. We stock EVA foam in a density range from 30 to 400 kg/m3 and in a range of different colours.

The foam forms in the mold, creating a sheet of closed-cell foam called a "loaf." The maximum length, width and thickness of the bread vary according to the density of the foam. We can cut the bread into sheets of the required thickness or process the material into specific shapes, slices or profiles.
